Lucy shocked me to bits the yesterday by returning home with some curtain liners (yep I was that impressed) but also a copy of Half Life 2 (now I was impressed by that!)
Half Life 2 has been knocking about the pc world for a while now and is no doubt last months news, but for those of us who enjoy the pleasures of a Mac can only wait until it was released on the Xbox.
Of course the graphics are not as good as the pc version and there is no multi-player option, strange given that Counterstrike was Live enabled, but the game is looking to be quite good. I can only say looking as for some reason Lucy has taken over the Xbox and refusing to let go of the controller until the nasty things are dead!
Operation Flashpoint Elite
I have been waiting for this game for over two years now. I’ve been waiting since Mr. W32.Sobig.A@mm decided to criple my Windows machine for the last time.
Operation Flashpoint was one of the first games I played online and still is one of the few games that had me immersed in a total underground state, any Zelda game also ranks up there. I had purchased the orginal, then the addon Red Hammer, I even went out and bought the ‘Game Of The Year’ box edition just so I had a enough backups of the game. I started playing in a clan and creating new missions and extra units, life was good in the world of OFP. Then came the virus and I lost a lot of a hard drive including my OFP info. Since then I’ve found it hard to go back, now running a Mac it is damn near impossible, so up steps the Xbox version. Two years later it is finally released, not bad Codemasters now just sort out Flashpoint2 and I’ll think about getting a cheap Dell!
