• Now I’m Happy
There has always been something about Project Gotham Racing that I've loved, even when it was Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast. The forth incarnation of the game hit the 360 last week and I picked up a copy yesterday and after a couple of hours it's safe to say I'm ...
  • It’s Halo Time
There are times like today when I just love living in sleepy quiet Sudbury. Because it means there are no queues at Woolworths and you canjust walk on in a pick up a copy of Halo3! This game as been in the making for the last 37 years, or so it seems. ...

Bachelor Days

Xbox Games
Lucy has gone away for a few days on some work related training thing, so I’m left to my own devices.
What do I do for three days? How can I pass the time?

Just me, the Xbox and some killer games. Time to catch up with some serious gaming.
First up we have Splinter Cell Double Agent; bit old hat now I know but I’ve not really had the time to really check this out.
Next up there is Tony Hawk’s Project8. It has been some years since I played a Tony Hawk’s game, probably number 2 but the latest version looks very promising.
Finally we have Gears Of War, the latest killer game from Epic and the Mircosoft Studios. I’ve played this through on the Casual difficulty but now is time for the big challenge; Hardcore and Insane level.

Now if only I could devote as much time and effort to the washing up the house would look great for when Lucy returns.

360Voice

If you are connected to the internet (most 360 gamers are due to the Live service offered my Microsoft) then every time you fire up your machine it records what you are doing.
This information is obviously handy for keeping your gamer profile updated but the people over at 360Voice have come up with another use; getting you Xbox to write a blog.

Whilst it can be interesting to read and keep a track of those achievements it is a bit concerning in a Big Brother sort of way!
