Die As One get noticed!
It has taken a while but finally the clan I belong to DAO have been noticed and we are being published. Thanks to Nigel (of Crafty fame) for all his hard work in sending off the emails, well basically he kept on badgering them until they had no choice to do a article on us!
As I’m not a hardcore gamer I do not get the copies of the magazines delivered to the door so I can’t tell what or where the item will be published, just have to wait and see ![]()

WGS - Week 2
This evening was the second meet of the WGS and after putting the results up I think there is some thing wrong with the scoring system.
OK so gravy and I are not really Halo fans and I’m by far the best football player but come on! How can bob go from being about 50 points behind to over 100 points in front, I’m asking for a judges decision.
Yeah alright it is the way it goes and no doubt when the driving games came back up the gap with be reduced; after all it is ‘just a game’
Results page says it all.
Retro Remakes
ah the old days of the commodore 64,long lazy summers, long loading games, every game release was amazing and games were only £8.95 (£7.95 on spectrum - not fair).
Anyway on to the post,i found an absolute class site the other day which has some really good remakes of some old commodore 64 classics, one of the highlights on this page is a pc remake of monty on the run,its really good, graphics are pretty decent and the old soundtrack is still there, also on this site are some other old favourites including remakes of jet set willy.
Clicking on the link below will whisk you away to remake land, enjoy!!!!
1 CommentWednesday Gaming Session

It has gone on for a bit so we decided to give it a name and so the WGS was born!
Since the days when I left Grabor Chris aka bobgbob has popped round at least once per week to tell me what he has done with my lovely network and how he has crippled my Linux machines. It soon settled to a Wednesday thing and during the GT4 Challenge build up Sean; gravy2012, started joining us.
Now it turns out to be a regular meeting and so needs a regular name; WGS, well better than ‘Sad Lonely Geeks’
