Time Machine

bmc TT01This morning I went over to LifecycleUK to see Rob, I was not on a mission to spend more money on my bike, in fact I was selling him some carrier bags!
But whilst I was there Rob called me into the back so show me something special, that is a bmc TT01 Time Trial frame. You will see one under Flloyd Landis tomorrow in the Tour de France prologue. Apperently that frame is the only one in the UK and is number 16 in the world!
Once built up this machine is heading off to the states were we hope it will be ridden in anger.
If only I could afford the £6k price tag would I then worry about what wheels to put on it!

    Thanks for posting a pic of the frame (cuz, it’s mine). I’m slapping on Zipps to top it off (Disc to TT and 808’s to race IM.) LifecycleUK has been AWESOME in putting this whole deal together. It should be built up in the next couple days and on display for the curious. Stop in to check it out and check out the other rides that Rob has for sale…. Best deals in town!!

    I already use an SL and decided that it only made perfect sense to add it to the package. I’m more likely to use it for Ironman distance races than TT’s, so I can climb aboard without a major change in geo’s (Wattage should remain constant) Anyway, it will be mounted on 808’s.

    I popped over to the shop at the week end and saw the ’suitcase’ for your toy, even that is out of this world.
    Hope you don’t mind if I grab a couple of photo’s of the machine as it gets assembled, not often you see bikes like that.
