Blog upgrade

Update:
I’ve finally been able to sort out the Permalinks for the blog. I have felt like a naked blog without decent Permalinks and finally it is sorted!
WordPress should sort out the .htaccess file and the Rewrite mod on the server should rewite the url’s to suit but some where it all went a bit wrong, after some communication with the people at UKC it turns out to be a Symlink problem. Many thanks to James who finally found a suitable fix and after some quick tidy up of the html on my front it is all working.

I had some spare time this morning and so I decided to upgrade the blog to WordPress version 1.5.1.3. I’ve put off doing this for a while through fears of it not working, but the process was pretty straight forward and went off without much hassle. The only problems I had was with a Wikifier plugin and the modification of the post form that the the quicktags display in Safari, easy to fix and so I’m back up and running again.
